Every business has a story. My job is to help people see it.

Every business has a story.

Not just what it does, but why it exists.

I’ve always been fascinated by the people behind the businesses I meet and the passion that drives them. Too often, that story gets lost behind a generic website or forgettable branding.

I believe it deserves better.

Hi, I'm Theressa. You can call me "T"

I’m the founder of Canvas & Coast Creative, and I believe great branding starts long before a logo is designed or a website is built.

It starts with listening.

I want to understand why you started your business, what drives you, what you’re proud of, and what makes your work different. Those conversations uncover the stories that become the foundation for everything we create together

Only then do I begin designing.

Whether I’m creating your visual identity, photographing your team, writing your website, or mapping out your customer journey, every decision has a purpose. Every piece should feel like it belongs to the same story.

More than a designer

One of the things clients appreciate most is that they work directly with me from start to finish.

I don’t hand projects off to another designer. I don’t outsource the strategy. I don’t send a photographer you’ve never met.

I guide every project personally because the best brands aren’t built from disconnected pieces. They’re built through thoughtful collaboration and a clear vision from beginning to end.

By bringing brand strategy, identity design, photography, copywriting, and website design together under one roof, I can create brands that feel cohesive, authentic, and true to the businesses behind them.

Everyone has a story

What I believe

I believe every business has a story worth telling.

I believe authenticity will always outlast trends.

I believe the details matter because they’re often what people remember.

I believe trust is earned through clarity, consistency, and genuine connection.

And I believe the best brands don’t try to be everything to everyone. They know exactly who they are.

A Few Things You Should Know About Me.

  • I served in the U.S. Army before beginning my creative career.
  • I believe the best ideas usually start with a conversation, not a computer.
  • You’ll often find me behind a camera as much as behind a screen.
  • I have a soft spot for local businesses, makers, and people who take pride in their craft.
  • When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me exploring the Lowcountry, running, or looking for the next great local coffee shop.

Let's tell your story.

Whether you're launching something new or ready for a brand that finally reflects the quality of your work, I'd love to help you uncover what makes your business unforgettable. Because your story deserves to be seen.
